Often when I’m feeling a little overwhelmed, tir

Often when I’m feeling a little overwhelmed, tired or just really busy, the idea of painting something complicated or learning something new just feels a little too much. But I know how beneficial painting can be to help me unwind and switch off from all the noise around me. I have a few sketchbooks I keep for when I want to paint something quickly without any pressure that are easy to grab. I love just taking a few minutes to slow down and watch the paints bleed together. The first stage of painting these mushrooms only took a few minutes and then when I had another small pocket of time later on, when the paint was dry, I grabbed my pens and doodled on top. I am SO excited to let you know that I have written another book! 🎨🎉 It is called How to Paint it! and contains 100 simple projects in six steps or less. I am so proud of how this book has turned out and I am over the moon to finally tell you all about it 🥰 My goal with this book is to help inspire you throughout the year and support you to build a regular watercolor practice that brings you joy and helps you unwind. With projects like a cup of coffee, a hot air balloon, a cute panda and a beautiful lily, I hope this book will fill you with joy as you flick through the pages! And I hope it will come to have a treasured place on your bookshelf. We use the same limited palette as my first book and there is also a QR code within where you can download traceable outlines for each project so you can just focus on painting! The projects are divided into seven categories:
